Rotation Five

Game 1 -  Cloth Drop

Game 2 -  Who’s Got the Rock

Number of Players: 10 or more

Rules

Players should form a large circle. One player will be the guesser and should leave the play area for a moment.

A small rock is passed around the circle. Players should cup their hands so the rock cannot be seen while it is being passed.

The guesser returns to the circle. Players continue to pass the rock. Some players should also pretend to pass it. The guesser must determine who actually has the rock.

If the guesser is correct, the person holding the rock becomes the new guesser. The guesser has three chances to guess correctly.

Game 3 -  1- 2- 3

Number of Players: 10 or more

Rules

Form partners, with each person facing about a meter apart.  Each pair will aim to count the numbers "1,2,3" with each person saying one number at a time, ex. Jane says "1" and then Amber says "2", then Jane says "3," ect.  Pairs continue repeating this pattern of numbers as fast and accurately as possible.  After short practice, explain that you want each pair to repeat the process but first substituting the call of "1" with a clap over one's head, example sounds like clap, two, three.  Then, after several rounds, repeat the process by substituting the calling of "2" with a little jump shot, example sounds like clap, jump, three.  Finally, repeat the process by substituting the calling of "3" with the sound of a cat's meow, example sounds like clap, shot, meow.  Encourage each pair to complete the exercise as quickly, accurately and for as long as possible.  If they make a mistake they should laugh and start over.  Swap partners for variation.  Other changes is to make groups of three or four and add other sounds for numbers.

Breathing - Breath into belly. Hands at your side.

Rhythm - Rhythm counting and adding movements
